Codex Updates
What's new on the codex itself — the tools, fixes and improvements we ship to this site. Looking for the Quinfall game's patch notes? Those are tracked separately.
- v1.0.0
First tagged release
The first versioned release of the Quinfall Codex — bundling a per-account inventory tracker with cloud sync, screenshot-based stat import, crafting profit tools, live auction-house widgets on item pages, and a site-wide styling pass. These are changes to the codex website itself, not the Quinfall game (see Patch Notes for the game's own updates).
Features
- Inventory tracker with cloud sync — New Inventory page tracks the materials you own per item, grouped by profession, with a Synced / Local-only indicator. Signed-in inventories now sync across devices.
- Stat-sheet screenshot import — Capture your in-game stat panel from a screenshot and parse it straight into validated build stats.
- Crafting Profit tab — See effective cost-per-item and margin, with market prices you can edit inline.
- Inline market widget on item pages — Live auction-house prices with a region selector and refresh, right on the item page.
- Item watchlist pins — Pin items to a personal watchlist for quick reference.
- More market price-history ranges — Added 3-hour, 12-hour, and All views to price-history trends.
- Gear Enhancement: recommended strategy — A new per-step Recommended column shows the smart enhancement path as you climb.
- XP & leveling profit — Real-silver leveling cost plus a profit-optimize metric.
- Item pages show "Used-In" counts — Each item lists how many recipes use it, with long lists collapsed by default.
- Renamed "Enhance Sim" to "Gear Enhancement" — A clearer name for the enhancement simulator.
Fixes
- Site-wide styling repair — Fixed 633 color and opacity styles that rendered incorrectly under Tailwind v4.
- Damage calculator consolidated — Removed the redundant standalone Damage Calc page — the build planner is now the single geared damage calculator.
- Live-data corrections — Fixed boss schedules, season-cycle timing, and flat-black event tiles on the home and events pages.
- Tougher screenshot import — Crop-to-panel detection and a hardened parser for real full-screen captures.
